The proposed changes to Title IX raise significant concerns among parents, educators, and lawmakers across the country, because of the damaging impacts such a change will have on both the mental and physical well-being of female student athletes. 

Title IX was created to ensure opportunities for fair and safe competition for biological female athletes in this country - which means that these changes undermine the very purpose of the law.
