In spite of having already decided against an application (see past Action NOW) to adorn Solvang with Pride banners and rainbow crosswalks for the month of June, the matter will be taken up again in the April 24th City Council meeting. See agenda here.

It seems the application has been amended with respect to duration of flags installation and location/quantity of altered crosswalks but the simple fact is this: this application has already twice failed as it contravenes city code on political banners.

Surely the Solvang City Council has more important matters to address for its citizens.
